Crafting services to celebrate each of life’s milestones
Ian Murdoch-Smith
Having worked for 40 years in a combination of teaching and pastoral care roles, including 15 years in ordained Christian Ministry, I have developed a deep understanding of our human need for ceremony and ritual to mark the milestones we encounter at key points in our lives. Whether a person is atheist, non-religious, spiritual or a follower of a specific religion, we all need to shape meaning and purpose in our experience through the many stages of our journey through this world.
With a lifetime of experience in leading others through the major changes in our life’s journey, I have a heart for celebrating the good in others and providing ceremonies that will strengthen and empower people on their next steps. Whether these are through the joy of new life and new beginnings or through the pain of loss and bereavement, I know that a well crafted, personal and powerful ceremony can equip those who participate with the strength to move confidently into the future.
Services
Whether you have strong beliefs yourself, or are open to ideas about our human nature, I will construct a bespoke ceremony reflecting your views for any circumstance of life that you need to mark in a special way. From the smallest home ceremony with yourself and one or two family and friends to the largest of gatherings, I will offer the same application to detail and commitment to meet your hopes and aspirations as well as those of your family and friends and to mark this point in your life appropriately.
